Start, Stop or Transfer City of OKC Utilities Service

Use this when starting Oklahoma City water, sewer or trash service, moving to a new address, stopping service or transferring existing service.

1. New customers:
   Visit okcutilities.com and select “Start Service,” or call Utilities Customer Service at (405) 297-2833 during business hours.
2. Existing customers:
   Sign in or register at okcutilities.com or the My OKC Utilities app, then select the “Service” tab.
3. Prepare required details:
   Have date of birth, Social Security number, phone number and email address ready.
4. Know about soft credit inquiry:
   The City says it may use provided information to verify identity, check deposit waiver eligibility and reduced solid waste rate eligibility. The soft inquiry should not impact credit score.

Find My Trash Day, Recycling Day and Bulky Waste Pickup

The City of OKC My Trash Day page helps customers find the next trash, recycling or bulky waste pickup date.

1. Open My Trash Day.
   Go to City of OKC My Trash Day.
2. Use the map.
   Zoom in until you see your house location, then click the house icon outlined in blue.
3. Or use search.
   Click the search icon on the map and enter your street address.
4. Read the left-side schedule box.
   The page says a box will show your upcoming service schedule.
5. Check holiday notes.
   The My Trash Day map is for regular schedule only. Holidays or severe weather can change pickup.
